1. What you get

ChewySinew is a training log and coaching app. The free version gives you logging, your history, the full-body programs, the safety rules, the core demonstration clips and export of all your data. The one-off Pro unlock adds the load suggestions, every program, body composition, the adaptive calorie band, the why-cards and per-gym profiles. Prices are shown on the first screen and on the paywall, in your local currency by Google Play.

2. The promise, and what it means

One payment. No subscription, no account, no server. The version you buy keeps working on your phone, offline, and your data can be exported at any time. We plan to keep improving the app and updates are included while we publish it. Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or other consumer laws that apply where you live. Google Play's refund policy applies to purchases.

In plain terms: the Pro unlock is a perpetual licence to the version you purchased, stored on your phone and restorable through your Google Play account on any phone signed in to it. It does not depend on any server of ours, so it keeps working if we stop publishing. It is not a promise of updates forever, or that every future version of Android will run it; those are outside our control. We commit to fixing bugs and security problems in the purchased version for at least [two years] from your purchase.

3. Health

ChewySinew gives general fitness guidance. It is not medical advice and it does not diagnose, treat or monitor any condition. Talk to your doctor before starting or changing an exercise program, especially if you have a medical condition, take medication, or answered yes to any health screening question. Stop and seek help if you feel chest pain, faintness, unusual breathlessness or sharp pain. The full health notice is in the app under Settings → Legal, and you agreed to it before entering any health answer. Resistance training carries inherent risks, including injury; you accept those risks when you choose to train, and you are responsible for using equipment safely and within your limits.

4. Your data

Everything lives on your phone; see the privacy policy. You can export or delete it at any time. We never hold it.

5. Refunds and consumer rights

Purchases are made through Google Play and Google's refund policy applies. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other consumer law that applies to you and cannot be excluded. Where the law lets us limit our liability, we limit it to the maximum extent the law permits, which for a paid app is re-supply of the app or the price you paid.

6. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for future versions and future purchases. A change will not take away the licence you already bought or narrow the promise in section 2 for a version you already have.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, Australia, without limiting any consumer law that applies where you live.

8. Third-party content

Exercise demonstration clips are generated media created for this app; their provenance is recorded in the app's media manifest. Trade marks belong to their owners.
